"Nice shoes!   "I love your outfit."  and "You look good."  are all nice to hear and maybe a little flattering but they aren't "REAL" compliments.  "REAL" compliments stop you in your tracks even when they are said to you about another person.  Follow along.

Here in the photo you see Beth Robbins performing one of her signature perfect deadlifts (with my sons Jack and Cole in the background).  Beth doesn't know it yet but the other day she received a "REAL" compliment from a first timer at BizFit.  Phyllis came in the other day to start getting her pre children body back because she saw Beth over the weekend and was floored by how much Beth had changed.  Her words were…."I saw Beth the other day for the first time in a long time and all I could say was WOW!!!  I want someone to not see me in while and say WOW when they see me again."

That my friends is a true "REAL" compliment.  Oh!  By the way, Beth comes in to train about 4-6 times per week and is known to finish a wod with ripped calluses even after a State Policeman had given up on the wod due to the same hand issues.

We love you Beth!  Keep up the great work.

What a surprise to open BizFit’s website and see myself! Talk of compliments? How about everyone I work out with? And how about Mike? He gave me back my life . . . really!

I have been working with Mike for over a year. I walked into this gym struggling with a serious thyroid condition that resulted in weight gain, breathing problems, a racing heart, and absolutely no muscles. I could not walk up a flight of stairs without pausing to breathe and rest my legs. I worked out privately with Mike 3X a week for a LONG time. He was always the most supportive and careful of coaches. I remember not being able to do even one squat. Mike met me where I was and my life took a dramatic turn.

Finally he said I was ready to be in a class. I met amazing women–totally supportive and fun. As I got stronger, I braved other groups, working out with Leslie and Ron and Simeon and Gary and Jason and Travis . . . .

I am now feeling like I’m training, not just getting better. I can’t express how deeply grateful I am to Mike and everyone else.
